Vanessa Passos Araújo is ILAC’s Programme Officer. She supports the coordination, implementation and M&E of ILAC’s programmes. Previously she coordinated ILAC’s public relations, digital presence, strategic public outreach and organisational branding. Prior to ILAC, Ms Passos served as research assistant at NUPPs-USP, where she was part of a multidisciplinary research team responsible for analysing the quality of new democracies, based primarily on the responsiveness and accountability of new democratic governments and its institutions. She holds a BA in Social Sciences from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil and a MA in International Relations with international Law from the University of Kent, United Kingdom.
